The survey which questioned people in the US, Australia, the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Korea and Spain found that only 2 per cent of people in the US said they did not believe in God. In France and South Korea the number of people who said they were atheists stood at 19 per cent.
The survey has again highlighted the gap between the US and Western Europe, where Pope Benedict XVI has complained that growing secularism has left churches empty. It has also reopened the debate among academics as to the reasons for the difference.

Eight Israeli warplanes violated the Lebanese air space on Tuesday, drawing anti-aircraft fire from the Lebanese army.
The Lebanese military said in a statement that eight Israeli planes, including two surveillance drones, flew over the Lebanese territory for more than an hour.
The Israeli planes flew over southern Lebanon and then headed northeast toward the Mount Lebanon area and the Bekaa Valley before returning to Israel.
The Lebanese forces fired surface-to-air rockets at the drones, the statement said.
The Israeli army quickly responded by firing three mortar rounds across the border, causing no casualties, it added.

WARDENS have issued the first £50 fine for dropping chewing gum in Manchester as part of a new Big Brother-style litter clampdown.
A man was caught on surveillance cameras spitting out the gum in Piccadilly Gardens. CCTV camera operators saw the incident and alerted city centre wardens, who were given a description of the offender. They approached the man and issued him with a £50 fixed penalty notice. It is understood he plans to appeal.

New US satellite- and radio-based computer technology is turning some workplaces into "battery farms" and creating conditions similar to "prison surveillance", according to a report from Michael Blakemore, professor of geography at Durham University.
The technology, introduced six months ago, is spreading rapidly, with up to 10,000 employees using it to supply household names such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Boots and Marks & Spencer.

Dear RMN Readers and Agents,
If you will read the article, it brings to light many groups WITHIN Mexico, who are ripe for revolution, or a political change for the people.
As I have said before, the government of Mexico is the one to blame for FAILING the citizens of that country. Not giving them a decent wage to exist on. The middle class is almost non-existant in Mexico. You are either real well off, or poor as a church mouse. I have been in Mexico several times over the years. It will almost break your heart to see the poverty these folks are in.
Now, I'm gonna tell you all a story. It is true. Believe it or not!
Years ago I was going back and forth alot to Disemboque, near Hermasillo on the coast to scuba dive. We would drive by a big plant where they put together Dodge trucks. They were getting paid EIGHT dollars a day. Dodge was so happy with the workers, and the success of their new bodystyle pickups, that they wanted to DOUBLE the salaries of the workers, the MEXICAN GOVERNMENT said NO WAY! WHY in the world would the government suppress a raise for its people? UNLESS TO KEEP THEM IN POVERTY ON PURPOSE?
The car company helped, and mostly paid for a real nice 4 lane highway to Hermosillo, the highway was BETTER than most in AZ! The government ALLOWED that helping hand, but not one for the people!
There is a terrible mess that needs fixed.
