At least one company in Texas, Green Mountain Energy in Austin, has turned this from science fiction into science fact. Green Mountain uses wood residue to generate a part of the electricity it produces and sells to Austin area clients.

[I think these brainiacs at the Pentagon really need to re-think this notion of more or less autonomous robot security things and robot “soldiers”.
Look at the number of computers that are out there today that go haywire as a result of hacking. Look at how many so-called “zombie” computers are out there, being remotely controlled by nefarious operatives.
That is fine for a laptop computer. What happens when you get a zombie self-propelled rocket launcher, or a malicious infection in a predator drone or something like that?
The other issue is that I don’t think it is a good idea to take control of the population out of the hands of actual human beings. I doubt the old saw about the robots rebelling and taking over would really come to pass, but for example what if there were some robots programmed to gather up protesters and put them in some designated area, like say a parking garage or something. Something like that could easily get out of control and you just have the robot mindlessly cramming more and more people in until everyone in there either suffocates or is crushed or something like that.]
Maybe there's been a less intimidating guard drone developed by the U.S. military. But I haven't seen it, yet.

[Now maybe someone can explain this one to me. One of the variety of bogus reasons they handed out for launching an unprovoked invasion of Iraq was that maybe, possibly, at some point in the future they could in some way be mixed up in a biological attack against the US.

[I read about the first 100 pages of this book. It was the crudest kind of anti-Catholic propaganda. The old myth of the”Sang Real”/”San Grael”/”Holy Grail” is really just window dressing for the message that the Catholic Church is bad and that people should back off from it.

Normally, this is not Finkelstein's crowd. I am an ex Naval line officer and a psychiatrist in private practice in New Orleans, a Christian and homeschool dad. Astute observers noticed right away that there were no Arabic sounding names on any of the flight manifests of the planes that “crashed” on that day.
A list of names on a piece of paper is not evidence, but an autopsy by a pathologist, is. I undertook by FOIA request, to obtain that autopsy list and you are invited to view it below. Guess what? Still no Arabs on the list. It is my opinion that the monsters who planned this crime made a mistake by not including Arabic names on the original list to make the ruse seem more believable.

Italy is to begin withdrawing its troops from Iraq in September 2005, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has said.
He told Rai state television the pullout would take place "in agreement with our allies".
Italy has 3,000 troops in Iraq - the fourth largest foreign contingent.
Domestic opposition to Italy's involvement in Iraq intensified after the killing of an Italian agent by US troops in Baghdad earlier this month.
The surprise announcement came as Italy's lower house of parliament backed a recent Senate vote to extend the country's military presence in Iraq beyond June.

[Now maybe someone can explain this one to me. One of the variety of bogus reasons they handed out for launching an unprovoked invasion of Iraq was that maybe, possibly, at some point in the future they could in some way be mixed up in a biological attack against the US.

After giving trillions of dollars to the Pentagon since WWII for “defense” we find that in reality the Pentagon can not even defend itself.
To get back to the anthrax thing. We have spent over $200B on Iraq. I doubt we have spent a thousandth part of that on the anthrax investigation or have a thousandth part of the work force trying to follow it up.
This is for a real attack that really happened in the real United States to real American people. This is just another piece of evidence in a long, long line of evidence all pointing tot he same conclusion- the so-called "War on Terror" is a joke and a sham.]
