"We're going to be attacked" has been their mantra. As predicted several years ago by myself and others, this is all nothing more than a smoke screen to keep everyone's adrenaline pumping. The expression is indeed true that time proves all things. The true reality is, there is NO WAY to prevent an attack no matter what anyone does, or whatever police state measures are in place. Consider London, which has more than 2 million cameras (British government statement.) Yet three bombs go off at the same time? Proof positive cameras do NOT work. It proves that cameras serve only to spy on citizens, and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism

A key point to note in the presidential determination is the waiver that allows support for Venezuela’s “democratic institutions” to continue. This is important because a drug war decertification generally implies blocking a country from international aid and loans. So, while aid to Venezuelan “democracy” (code for funding the opposition to President Chávez, most recently seen in the National Endowment for Democracy’s $107,000 grant to Súmate this week) will be allowed to continue, Venezuela will most likely be cut off from other forms of aid and loans from institutions like the World Bank

“To the applause of the ADL, ACLU and AU, Catholic schools are denied government money for the purchase of maps in the classroom, but the federal government can spend nearly 2 million dollars to build a Jewish chapel at the Naval Academy without a word of protest from any of them.
...
“In other words, prayer rugs can be purchased with federal funds to accommodate suspected Muslim terrorists in Guantanamo Bay, and Jewish chapels can be built with federal monies, but Christian kids can’t sing ‘Silent Night’ in the classroom. Got it everyone?

Federal officials appear to be seeking proof to blame the flood of New Orleans on environmental groups, documents show.
The Clarion-Ledger has obtained a copy of an internal e-mail the U.S. Department of Justice sent out this week to various U.S. attorneys' offices: "Has your district defended any cases on behalf of the (U.S.) Army Corps of Engineers against claims brought by environmental groups seeking to block or otherwise impede the Corps work on the levees protecting New Orleans? If so, please describe the case and the outcome of the litigation."
Cynthia Magnuson, a spokeswoman for the Justice Department, said Thursday she couldn't comment "because it's an internal e-mail."

"It doesn't sound like they're close to cracking the case," said Eric H. Holder Jr., a Washington lawyer who was deputy attorney general during the Clinton administration.
The magnitude of the anthrax investigation has parallels to another marathon FBI probe: the 18-year search for the Unabomber, who killed three people and injured 23 others in mail-bomb attacks.

SEPTEMBER 16--One of President George W. Bush's nephews--the youngest son of Florida Governor Jeb Bush--was arrested early today and charged with public drunkenness and resisting arrest. John Ellis Bush, 21, was nabbed at 2:30 AM by Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents in Austin (Jeb Jr.'s street corner arrest came in one of the capitol's popular bar districts). According to the below arrest warrant, filed with the Travis County Municipal Court, an intoxicated Bush, "continually pushed against this officer and struggled as I attempted to handcuff him." After about four hours in custody, Bush was released on $2500 bond for the resisting count (the intox charge was covered by a personal recognizance bond). This is the second time young Jeb--pictured at far right in the above family portrait--has landed on a police blotter. In October 2000, Jeb, then 16, and a girlfriend were discovered naked from the waist down in a Jeep Cherokee parked at a Tallahassee mall. Jebby's siblings, George and Noelle, have also had well-publicized run-ins with the fuzz. (2 pages)

The vehicles were not being escorted by the US army or any other government vehicles and the vehicles were festooned with insignia reading 'Mexico MP's' and the Mexican flag.
The second sighting of a similar nature occurred north of Austin on I35 near Georgetown Texas.
