Invasion USA

"We have enough corn in this country to make this happen now," Aasness said. "Looking at $54 to $55 per barrel of oil prices underscores the need to look for alternate sources of energy."

So, though the earth may or may not be overpopulated, it is definitely over mechanized. Where do you think all the pollution comes from? It gets into the air, the soil, the water from exhaust pipes, from chemical sprayers, from war weapons, from pharmaceutical companies manufacturing their designer chemicals from petroleum, from Silicon Valley productions, and on and on and on. And please note, there is no indication that the industrialists have any intention of cutting back or even modifying their designs if that would eat into their ever increasing profit margin requirements as the financial markets get unrealer and unrealer (or should I say more and more virtual?)

Nichols, serving a life sentence for his role in the blast, said in the four-page handwritten letter that "I felt the record should be set straight." He claims Arkansas gun collector Roger Moore gave the explosives to Timothy McVeigh and provided additional bomb components recently found in Nichols' former Kansas home.

Moore was never charged, has denied any involvement in the bombing and testified against Nichols about the robbery.

It's quite rare to find such unintended comedy in a proxy statement. Think of it. A huge American corporation was acknowledging, without a whisper of apology to its stockholders, that it was paying Moonves and Freston $52 million each for one year's worth of on-the-job training. The two men were promoted from their lower Viacom positions in July last year to be co-presidents and co-chief operating officers of Viacom. They had been handpicked by Redstone as his successor team. Redstone, who is 81, has announced he'll step aside as CEO by December 2007.

THE RISE OF CHINA (CRS)

In its ascendance as an economic and military power, China is
increasingly a subject of both fear and fascination among
political leaders and the popular press.

"An intimate friend and a hated enemy have always been
indispensable to my emotional life," Freud wrote in The
Interpretation of Dreams, "and not infrequently ... friend and
enemy have coincided in the same person." (Modern Library
edition, p. 345).

Something similar seems to be true with respect to China, which
has simultaneously been the object of ingratiating praise and
pre-emptive demonization, as it has compelled the attention of
would-be global strategists and others.

"China is on a rising path and America welcomes the emergence of a
strong and peaceful and prosperous China," President Bush said in
2002 (quoted in the Washington Times today).

Yet China is also becoming a major driver for U.S. offensive and
defensive military planning. The cover story of the latest
Atlantic Monthly, entitled "How We Would Fight China,"
anticipates a new cold war with the People's Republic.

Much of the background that underlies American policy interest in
China can be gleaned from several recent reports prepared by the
Congressional Research Service.

[True false? Anyone know?]

The following is an email from a gentleman and Patriot I have come to consider a good friend and very informed person. What he is relating about the man from California is typical of info coming my way. It is not an isolated incident at all. I am hearing about a considerable hostility not only directed at whites but black Americans as well.

My sources are also seeing more and more Americans who have been more or less on the sidelines starting to realize we have a problem. Joe Six Pack is waking up!

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Ghostwolfemoon,

I heard a story today from a younger man who moved here from "Calipornia". Been here awhile, said he came from an area about 75 miles north of LA. Said that the mex there are flying their mex flags in front of their houses. His dad decided WTF and flew a U.S. one - - - and it almost started a riot! They - the mexs - demanded it come down and told them that it didn't mean anything anymore that it is now their country. The fight was on and he & his dad stayed the nite in jail!! He picked up a Mosin Nagant M-44 (7.62x54R) and came back and got him a case of military ammo for it! Said he had a lot of other sporting guns in the odd calibers but none that shot cheap military stuff he could stock up on. And I am hearing more and more of this talk every day! I even know of a small country church that set up a "neighborhood watch" and are training in marksmanship and all! No, right wing camo' wearing types, just average Joe Six Packs! Ther only major media that comes out strong on the border issue is Fox News all the other are for the 'other' side - -maybe their network HQ is mexico city??? Oh well, keep ya powder dry - gonna need it!

Compare: 100 million people murdered by governments this century; 75% by communist regimes — to about 38 million killed in all wars and conflicts.

So let Cambodia's now almost forgotten Pol Pot remind us that big governments, particularly those driven by ideology and idealism, have been a greater menace than big armies, heavy armaments, — even nuclear weapons.

In fact, Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge killed five times more civilians than did atomic bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The idea, which Chertoff tossed out at an April 27 meeting with security-industry officials, is reminiscent of the Defense Department's now-dead Total Information Awareness program that sought to sift though heaps of foreign intelligence information to root out potential terrorist activity.

According to one techie who attended the April 27 meeting, Chertoff told the group, "Maybe we can create a nonprofit and track people's activities, and an algorithm could red-flag individuals. Then, the nonprofit could give us the names."

Chertoff also suggested that private industry form a group to collect proprietary information about cyber- and other infrastructure-security breaches from companies; scrub it of identifying information; aggregate it; and pass it along to the department. The financial services industry already has such a group.

WTC-7, as is well-known, was never struck by airplanes, and photographs of it show only insignificant fires ( www.globalresearch.ca.myforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=523 ). How can an insurer take such an extreme case simply and casually as business as usual?

There is plenty more such evidence that would be useful in the billion-dollar lawsuit, which every citizen with an Internet connection can confirm. Why aren’t Allianz (and the other insurers) able to?

When the managing and supervisory boards take no action to join the investigation of a case as huge and notorious as the WTC, how are the shareholders to know that other cases, too, for whatever reason, are not paid out without being properly investigated?

The lessons for today's housing market are simply this: Just as in the Nasdaq's case, sane individuals are being made to look insane by this market. People know that it's a bubble of course, but they can't seem to stay away. The temptation to play along is just too great. A recent survey indicated that 63% of business owners believe there is a bubble in real estate. In spite of this, 42% felt that real estate would be the most lucrative investment in the near term, outperforming both stocks and bonds. These numbers indicate that investors have bought into a high-stakes game of chicken, trying to squeeze out the last few percentage points of return before the whole market blows.

[I am putting the following links in because I still hear people looking at something like the Franklin cover-up or whatever else, and they say “well that can’t be right. Why would the FBI be like that? That doesn’t make any sense.”

t is more or less common knowledge that he was a transvestite and had a life long relationship with fellow FBI man Clyde Tolson. There are numerous stories of Hoover appearing in drag in New York. Usually in a red dress, he liked to be called "Mary".
...
After all the threats and compromises that he had been forced to make over the decades, he was still able to say that the FBI remained the organization that he built upon his own principles and standards - a unique achievement in the history of the federal government.

TUOHY: Professor Robert Blakey, once a member of Robert Kennedy's Justice Department and now a professor at Notre Dame Law School, is credited with creating RICO. However, I read that New York's Thomas E. Dewey had put the concept together back in the 1930s. Do you know anything about that?

MR. GRELL: I know that Blakely is generally credited with drafting the RICO Act as it currently exists. As for Dewey, I have to believe that anyone who was ever involved in prosecuting organized crime dreamed of the day when a statute like the RICO Act would exist. Dewey and many others throughout history no doubt envisioned a RICO statute.

Throughout his reign as the Director of the FBI (1924-1972), however, J. Edgar Hoover denied the existence of organized crime in America. Given Hoover's influence within the United States government, it was probably very difficult to pass or enforce a law such as RICO.

One must wonder if there is more than a coincidental connection between the demise and death of Hoover and the passage and effective enforcement of RICO.

Cherney: Senator Patrick Leahy held monthly hearings on the FBI before the World Trade Center attack. They were called "Oversight: Restoring Public Confidence in the FBI."

King: Rather than restoring the integrity of the FBI itself.

Cherney: Yeah, and rather than boosting the public's confidence, he was actually doing the opposite. He was uncovering facts that were destroying people's faith in the FBI. A friend once told me that the true nature of everything—whether creature or business or organization—is imprinted on it at birth. The FBI was born out of A. Mitchell Palmer, who led the infamous Palmer Raids to round up suspected communist immigrants in 1920, and raised by J. Edgar Hoover. Hoover was a psychotic, homophobic, fascist, totalitarian cavorter with the Mob, and he imprinted that onto the FBI. Despite being a gay transvestite, Hoover had agents persecute gay people and personally purged the FBI of agents he thought were gay.

King: Because he hated that part of himself?

Cherney: I don't know. He was pathological, and I think what we're looking at is a pathological organization. For the duration of his career, Hoover never acknowledged the existence of organized crime, because the Mob had information on him. They used him as much as he did them. And that's how the FBI fouled up its ability to fight crime. They are not only corrupt but criminal, and the criminals have as much information on the FBI as the FBI has on them. The FBI can't indict any major crime figures—or even mid-level crime figures—in this country because the criminals will say, "Oh, you're going to put me in jail? Well, then I'm going to tell them how you were there when we killed so-and-so, or raped so-and-so, or tortured so-and-so."

That's what Patrick Leahy's committee was uncovering before September 11: that the FBI was in bed with the Mob and other crime figures. We learned that an FBI security analyst in Las Vegas sold information on protected informants to the Mob for twenty-five thousand dollars. The FBI has put people in jail who didn't commit murders and let off mobsters who did. In Boston, the FBI allowed two innocent men to spend several decades in prison for a murder committed by an FBI informant. And the FBI knew their man was guilty. The FBI was in the car with members of the KKK when they killed civil-rights leaders in the sixties. The FBI knew who bombed the Birmingham, Alabama, church. The FBI couldn't convict the Klan, because the FBI was with them when they were committing these murders and lynchings. This is the real history of the FBI. So the FBI can't be reformed because the very nature of the FBI is to be complicit in the commission of crimes. It's beyond incompetence.
