Records show that thirtyOhio contributors to President Bush's re-election campaign have received more than one-point-two billion dollars in state and federal tax dollars for their companies and lobbying clients.

Records that the Toledo Blade analyzed show the federal government has given those companies more than 447 million dollars in subsidies, contracts and other payments since Bush took office. Ohio has awarded them about 800 million dollars in the last six years.

Most Christians believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, and Left Behind teaches a pre-tribulation rapture. But make no mistake, refuting the pre-tribulation rapture teaching is not the reason I wrote GOD'S WRATH ON LEFT BEHIND, although I did not dodge this issue in the book. I wrote the book to expose the antichrist agenda of the Left Behind series. My book is filled with new material that thoroughly proves this statement.

Put simply, Ruby’s new book God’s Wrath on Left Behind methodically outlines evidence indicating the Left Behind series is not what it appears to be. Moreover, Ruby lays out -- through clear Biblical examples and critical examination -- a compelling argument that the best-selling novels are virtual propaganda tools teeming with anti-Christian gospel, anti-Christ messages, and radical New Age teachings.

"The Left Behind
series is a promotion of Satan’s broad road leading to destruction in the guise of ‘tribulation-style’ Christianity," says Ruby. "Cloaked under the label of ‘entertainment,’ the fact is that careful review of the Left Behind books reveals a frightening hidden agenda that is sending harmful messages to millions of readers."

British diplomats had a satellite phone stolen in Baghdad...and only noticed it was missing after a bill for FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS was run up.

The invoice shows thousands of phone calls made to Yemen and Saudi Arabia, bases for al-Qaeda terror networks. MI6 spy chiefs fear the "Thuraya" phone was used by insurgents to plot a wave of suicide bombings across Iraq.

Now furious Foreign Secretary Jack Straw has launched a major investigation into how the theft was allowed to happen - and why nothing was done until the huge bill was uncovered.

Here is a most extraordinary letter from Syria's Ambassador in Washington Imad Mustapha to Congresswoman Sue Kelly, which has come into my possession. It explains how the American Administration has been stonewalling Syrian cooperation on a host of issues. It explains how Syria is being set up to fail so that the US can isolate it and carry out a process of regime-change at the expense of Iraqi stability and the lives of American soldiers and Iraqi civilians. It explains how the US administration's policy of forcing regime change in Syria is trumping the need to save lives in Iraq.

At least 21 detainees who died while in US custody in Iraq and Afghanistan were the victims of homicide and usually died during or after interrogations, according to an analysis of Defence Department data.

The analysis by the American Civil Liberties Union, released today, looked at 44 deaths described in records obtained by the ACLU. Of those, the group characterised 21 as homicides, and said at least eight resulted from abusive techniques by military or intelligence officers, such as strangulation or "blunt force injuries", as noted in the autopsy reports.

The 44 deaths represent a partial group of the total number of prisoners who have died in US custody overseas; more than 100 have died of natural and violent causes.

The hit on the radar-evading plane on March 27, 1999, during the 78-day NATO campaign over Serbia, triggered doubts not only about the F-117s, but also about the entire concept of stealth technology on which the U.S. Air Force has based its newest generation of warplanes.

Military analysts debated how the planes would fare in a war against a militarily sophisticated opponent if an obsolescent air defense such as Serbia's could manage to track and destroy them.

The War Crimes Act of 1996, a federal statute set forth at 18 U.S.C. § 2441, makes it a federal crime for any U.S. national, whether military or civilian, to violate the Geneva Convention by engaging in murder, torture, or inhuman treatment.

The statute applies not only to those who carry out the acts, but also to those who ORDER IT, know about it, or fail to take steps to stop it. The statute applies to everyone, no matter how high and mighty.

If you are in a public place and start showing symptoms of influenza, SARS or whatever infectious disease is currently in play, you will have no rights. The government can not only kidnap you, it WILL kidnap you and put you in a health facility. You will be isolated from your home, your family, your job and everything you have known as your life. You will be kept there until the health officials can be absolutely sure that you are not infected. Then, if you weren't infected before you were quarantined, there is a chance that you will be infected by the other people in the quarantine area; thus, you could actually end up acquiring the disease during this mandatory quarantine sentence, even though you didn't bring the disease with you in the first place.

More than 100,000 deaths per year come from drugs

Let’s not have them in parking lots. Let’s move them up to Baghdad, let’s move them up with the 3rd ID or move them over to the Marines, who’ve taken 50 percent of the hits yet have roughly 6 to 7 percent of the" uparmored "Humvees," said Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., who chairs the House Armed Services Committee.

The editor of Haqooq-i-Zan (Women's Rights),  Ali Mohaqiq Nasab (left) was arrested on Oct. 1 after he published articles in two issues of the magazine denouncing the law making stoning to death for leaving the Islamic religion a crime, criticized the practice of punishing adultery with 100 lashes, and argued that men and women should be considered by law to be equals. ("In some cases, the testimony of a female witness is considered to have only half the value of a male," the AP noted.) In other words, saying that men and women should be equal under the law  and that stoning to death is wrong are "blasphemous" statements for which one can be sent to the slammer for years.

Now, do you remember Laura Bush's "crusade" for women's rights in Afghanistan, which was part of the Bush administration's propaganda campaign to convince Americans the U.S. military invasion of the country was justified?

Robert Pastor of the Council on Foreign Relations, who is one of the co-architects of the SPP's blueprint, has explained that the vision behind that initiative calls for citizens of the U.S., along with Mexicans and Canadians, to cease thinking of themselves as citizens of their respective countries, and embrace a new identity as "North Americans." This would mean the abolition of the United States , the repudiation of our Declaration of Independence, and the abandonment of our constitutional Republic in favor of a North American version of the socialist European Union.

[Heaven forbid people’s money should retain its value, or even increase in value. That would be just awful.]
Conclusion
Sustained deflation can be highly destructive to a modern economy and should be strongly resisted. Fortunately, for the foreseeable future, the chances of a serious deflation in the United States appear remote indeed, in large part because of our economy's underlying strengths but also because of the determination of the Federal Reserve and other U.S. policymakers to act preemptively against deflationary pressures. Moreover, as I have discussed today, a variety of policy responses are available should deflation appear to be taking hold. Because some of these alternative policy tools are relatively less familiar, they may raise practical problems of implementation and of calibration of their likely economic effects. For this reason, as I have emphasized, prevention of deflation is preferable to cure. Nevertheless, I hope to have persuaded you that the Federal Reserve and other economic policymakers would be far from helpless in the face of deflation, even should the federal funds rate hit its zero bound

Sobering statistics tell his story, too. A few examples:

• More than 100,000 deaths per year come from drugs that are taken as directed by a physician (not through misuse or overdose).

• Almost half of Americans take at least one prescription drug every day; 1 in 6 take three or more daily.

• Drug companies pay for about 90 percent of the continuing-education classes physicians must take.

• Washington has six times as many pharma-industry lobbyists as it does US senators.

• Of the 1,035 new drugs approved by the FDA from 1989 to 2000, more than half offered no significant new benefits over older drugs.

Knowing the source of this piece makes it all the more disturbing. It is not every day that the editor of a respected national magazine publishes an essay claiming that America is not on the road to becoming, but ALREADY IS, a fascist state.... or words to that affect.

A cunning rat released on a deserted island off New Zealand outsmarted scientists and evaded traps, baits and sniffer dogs before being captured four months later on a neighbouring island, researchers said on Wednesday.

Scientists from the University of Auckland in New Zealand released the Norway rat on the 9.5-hectare (23.5-acre) island of Motuhoropapa to find out why rats are so difficult to eradicate.

They got more than they bargained for.

The tularemia clearly wasn't intended to hurt anybody. It was the release of information about the tularemia which was intended to be a shot across the bow of any future protests. It is not difficult to believe, especially given the transparent cover-up being conducted by the FBI, that the next time it will be anthrax.

Although the caste system was legally ended in 1950, it still regulates much of Indian society, and the Dalits are at the lowest rung in this oppressive class structure. And while Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist Dalits are given affirmative action placements in universities and government jobs, they lose these and other rights when they become Christians.

The court case will determine whether these rights will be extended to Christians.

"What the militant leaders have been doing to deny the Dalit Christians their rights is totally unconstitutional," Dr. Yohannan declared. "Yet despite the persecution and loss of rights, millions of Dalits have become Christians.

"When the court rules in favor of the Christians, it will be like a dam bursting. The possibility is that 300 million 'Untouchables' who have been living in slavery will at last find their way to freedom and hope. This is the last barrier to them moving out of the oppression of the Hindu caste system.

If a man is given extra punishment because of his thoughts, which may or may not have been motive for his crime, then pretrial discovery must necessarily include finding "bad" speech to support that extra punishment; it involves interviewing his friends and co-workers, inspecting his library and video rental records, determining what newsletters and magazines he likes and any organizations he belongs to, in order to establish what he might have thought before and during his crime. It requires Gestapo-like searches by Thought Police.

The eventual result of such legislation will be prosecutors rifling the personal thoughts of any white suspect alleged to have perpetrated a crime against a minority person.

What I fear most for the future of our country is that our leadership seems to be developing the same arrogance that doomed the British Empire.

In early 1941, the British general in charge of the Far East scoffed at the idea that Japan would attack. The Japanese wouldn't dare, he said, because they were a subhuman, inferior race. That same year, Winston Churchill likewise said that the Japanese would not dare attack the British Empire. The Japanese were, he said, the "wops of the East," thus insulting two peoples in one sentence.

The Japanese, who were then and are now among the most brilliant people on Earth, did attack the British Empire. They sank the very battleship on which Churchill made his statement. They completely defeated the British in the Far East in 11 weeks, capturing more than 100,000 British soldiers and officers. It was the largest, most humiliating defeat in Britain's history.

credit-card payments that threaten to increase delinquencies

ON each stage of his journey, as he descended further and further into the gulags and torture chambers of the war on terror, Benyam Mohammed al-Habashi was shadowed by British intelligence. The British were there in Karachi when Americans interrogated him and Pakistanis tortured him; they were feeding questions to the Moroccan torturers who took a scalpel to his penis; they stood back and watched as he was dragged to an American torture chamber in Afghanistan and then to the gulag of Guantanamo, where he languishes to this day
...
In total, al-Habashi spent 18 months in Moroccan detention. He was tortured with the scalpel once a month. He once asked a guard why they were doing this to him and was told: “It’s just to degrade you, so when you leave here you’ll have these scars and you’ll never forget. So you’ll always fear doing anything but what the US wants.”

Roberts’ explicit objection to the Oregon statute is that, “It creates the potential for a patchwork of laws across the nation regarding the matter.” In other words, the states rights advocate claims that he opposes assisted suicide based on the inherently pernicious nature of states rights. This argument was rejected as pretzel logic by none other than William Rehnquist. Nevertheless, the “brilliant” Roberts has presented the convoluted rationale because his real reason reflects even more negatively on him. Prince 3 reports: “I am one of the Saudi Royal Family who has been assisting your newsletter. I wish to tell you something of intelligence nature. The information I have is scarce. Briefly, here is what I have been able to put together: Taiff is in the western part of Saudi Arabia, high in a very rugged mountain range, near the Red Sea. It is not listed on all maps. In fact, I can't even find a reference to it in Google, but it probably has several spelling variations. It is pronounced Taa'eef. From about 1973 until the late 1980's a mammoth construction project went on near Taiff, Saudi Arabia. The scale was so enormous as to defy belief. The scale was evidently so massive that my sources of this information indicated to me that they could not adequately verbalise it. In spite of the enormity of the project, it was done in almost total secrecy. Essentially, a complete underground city was built, spanning literally miles. There is also an extremely large runway which can in some fashion be hidden from aerial view and capable of handling more than even the largest aircraft. Airplanes that land can be hidden in a cavernous hanger built in an entire mountain. Parts of the runway aprons can also be lowered so that airplanes can be stored in hangers that are actually under the airport itself. All entrances to the city are hidden and impregnable. The primary contractor for this project was Bechtel. During the construction phase the area itself was closed to all access by outsiders. It was referred to by people in the know as "the forbidden city." It is clear to me that the city was built as a refuge. The question I have always pondered is a refuge for *whom*, and for *what*. A clue was given during the Gulf war. It seems Saudi and Kuwati royals waited out the war at.... (you will never guess) - Taiff! My theory is that this city was built as the destination of my family and unknown outsiders in event of a takeover of my family’s government or a nuclear war. I wish you would expose this further. I have tried myself but the old ones have the secrets and I am not trained as a journalist.”G306 We do not know if the Neocon allies of “the old ones” are responsible for this refuge or will benefit from it. We have heard unconfirmed rumors within the beltway of Washington.

A growing number of Wall Street forecasters, including those at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Merrill Lynch & Co., are pulling back on estimates for consumer spending. Since 2002, more than 90 people have been injured and 18 killed on the Eastern Shore in accidents involving Hispanic workers driving rogue vehicles.

The fatalities represent about one-fourth of the 71 highway deaths on the Eastern Shore in that period, even though the year-round Hispanic population makes up only 5 percent of the region's 51,000 residents. Those numbers swell during tomato-picking season, from July through early November, when most of the fatalities occurred.

Brazilians aren't waiting for high-priced hybrid cars.

Drivers are fighting rising gasoline prices by buying "flex" or "flexible fuel" cars that slurp more alcohol.

Alcohol made from sugar cane is becoming the fuel of choice in Brazil, and other countries - so much so that global sugar prices hit a seven-year high this week.

Regular car engines will run fine on a 10 percent blend of alcohol and gasoline. But by using computer sensors that adjust to whatever mix is in the tank, flex car engines run on either ethanol, gasoline, or any combination of the two. And they have been roaring out of dealerships here since Volkswagen sold the first TotalFlex Golf in March 2003.

It seems harsh to say that bad news for polar bears is good for Pat Broe. Mr. Broe, a Denver entrepreneur, is no more to blame than anyone else for a meltdown at the top of the world that threatens Arctic mammals and ancient traditions and lends credibility to dark visions of global warming.

Still, the newest study of the Arctic ice cap - finding that it faded this summer to its smallest size ever recorded - is beginning to make Mr. Broe look like a visionary for buying this derelict Hudson Bay port from the Canadian government in 1997. Especially at the price he paid: about $7.

By Mr. Broe's calculations, Churchill could bring in as much as $100 million a year as a port on Arctic shipping lanes shorter by thousands of miles than routes to the south, and traffic would only increase as the retreat of ice in the region clears the way for a longer shipping season.

The disclosure is likely to increase calls for tighter controls of the high risk and often arcane financial instruments that have seen phenomenal growth over recent years in the City and on Wall Street.

Wal-Mart has 1,400,000 American employees, and there isn't a union in sight. Bill Coughlin, the #3 man at Wal-Mart, is said to be ready to testify about how unions and Wal-Mart colluded in a scheme to avoid unions.

UFCW could sign up 1,000,000 members @ $20 a month and that's $240,000,000 a year in dues. It would cost Wal-Mart at least $ 3 billion a year.

The rumor, that some miscellaneous union rummy took $20,000 to look the other way, is absurd. There is big money involved, and maybe that's what Coughlin is about to sing about

Every U.S. soldier takes an express and solemn oath to “support and defend the Constitution.” That oath, however, is a sham because the troops do not support or defend the Constitution. Instead, when it comes to war the troops follow another oath they take – to obey the orders of the president, and they do this without regard to whether such orders violate the Constitution.

A textbook example involves President Bush’s war on Iraq.

The Constitution prohibits the president from waging war without first securing a declaration of war from Congress. By waging war on Iraq without the constitutionally required congressional declaration of war, the president violated the Constitution.

Some people pooh-pooh the violation, perceiving the Constitution as simply a technical document that can be violated whenever the president feels that “national security” – or even the welfare of foreigners – necessitates it.

Chinese workers at a company in Israel have been forced to agree not to have sex with or marry Israelis as a condition of getting a job.

According to a contact they are required to sign, male workers may not have any contact with Israeli women - including prostitutes, a police spokesman, Rafi Yaffe, said.

He said there was nothing illegal about the requirement and that no investigation had been opened.

An Israeli lawyer who did not want to be named said while the contract might appear legal, it would be rejected if challenged in court. "The point is that a Chinese worker will agree to anything and then will not have anyone to help them if there is a problem," he said.

Hurricane Katrina helped push inflation up sharply last month, guaranteeing that millions of Americans receiving Social Security and other federal benefits will see their payments rise in January by the largest amount since 1991, the government reported today.

But the Labor Department also reported that the widely followed consumer price index for all urban consumers, rose 1.2 percent last month and 4.7 percent in the 12 months that ended in September. That was the biggest monthly rise since March, 1980, and the biggest 12-month increase since May, 1991.

With such a record, no person can honestly categorize G.W. Bush as a fiscal conservative. By comparison, Dubya's spending habits make Bill Clinton look like a conservative!

Writing for the Financial Times (7/15/05), Jim Cooper stated, "President George W. Bush has failed to impose discipline on congressional spending. His Republican Congress has, unsurprisingly, become headstrong and spendthrift as a result.

In 2000, a firm, Ag/Bio Con (4) developed a strain of fusarium oxysporum mold they called EN-4, and that the military calls FOXY. David Sands, vice president of the company and primary producer, lobbied the members of Congress to use it against coca fields. Congress even attached a string to an aid package to Columbia saying that to receive the aid, the country must allow the use of these mycoherbicides. This proposal was rejected by the Columbian President, but strangely outbreaks of EN-4 mold infestations starting showing up in other South American countries, such as Peru.(5) By international law, the US may not export or introduce potentially harmful bio-agents into the biosphere of other countries. The supposedly spontaneous outbreaks of the EN-4 strain of Fusarium, allowed the stuff to be pushed as a mycoherbicide, because it was already there. The reasoning was to attack the growing of illicit drug crops. There were reports that the supposed natural outbreaks of EN-4 were preceded by US helicopters spraying an unknown agent in the areas. The use of this kind of mycoherbicide was squashed and made illegal by the countries in the Andes, that had been pressured to allow the spraying. Jeremy Bigwood describes the history in this article (6), and warned in July, 2005 that:

Gorbachev's new headquarters, which is called the Gorbachev Foundation, is now located at NorthEastern University in Boston. I found this out several years ago when my son was attending college there. Every time we visited we saw Gorbachev in his limo or he was speaking in one of the campus buildings. I thought this was odd and finally checked into it. Most parents do not know that their children's school is the headquarters for the past leader of the Soviet Union. How bizarre is that?

I believe this is how we are being infiltrated.....not just by Gorbachev but also by others who are of the same mindset. These people are operating out in the open and many of us are accepting the whole scam.

The American-based internet giant

What a bunch of post-war revisionist nonsense. The above statement is pure US government propaganda. It contains almost as many outrageous lies as it does individual words. The only part of this statement that is absolutely true is, "US President Harry S. Truman ordered the atomic bombings." This drivel, in many forms, has been repeated again and again to US schoolchildren over these past 60 some years to the point that even some (supposedly educated) US scholars have begun to repeat the mantra. This lie has been so overblown that, recently, the absurd amount of "saved lives" has ballooned from "one million lives" to "two million lives" to even the point where President George W. Bush has stretched it to "millions of lives." At this rate, by the year 2025, the atomic bombings will have saved 20 million lives. America, this is a lie. It’s time you faced up to the truth about the war and the atomic bombings.

Also interesting are the far more lethal targets that the perpetrators passed over. Under this debt-as-money scenario, the paper you get for giving up a loaf of bread isn't worth a thing until you exchange that paper for some real goods. I don't want to discuss in detail again the fairness of this game, suffice to say for every $1,000 credit you get, someone up there gets a credit tens and hundreds of times larger than yours and when they go belly up they get bailed out with public money.

Now I want to talk one thing about debt that other analysts rarely understand. Debts are a feature created by man. It's abstract, a promise that can be broken. When the cure for small pox is found or when the first airplane is flown, it's knowledge that lasts forever. When a building is erected, it stays there for decades and more. The human advances stay permanent but debts (and debt-based money) do not.

"As we start out today in the intelligence world ... we start out a little behind the curve," Goss said Thursday at the opening of the University of Maryland's language institute. "Not enough people speak the languages we need."

Habeas corpus is the greatest protection Americans have against a police state. Habeas corpus ensures that Americans can only be detained by law. They must be charged with offenses, given access to attorneys, and brought to trial. Habeas corpus prevents the despotic practice of picking up a person and holding him indefinitely.

President Bush claims the power to set aside habeas corpus and to dispense with warrants for arrest and with procedures that guarantee court appearance and trial without undue delay. Today in the US, the executive branch claims the power to arrest a citizen on its own initiative and hold the citizen indefinitely. Thus, Americans are no longer protected from arbitrary arrest and indefinite detention.

Sharon knows this, and he is prepared to evacuate the settlements that are dispersed in the heart of the Palestinian territories, hoping to hold on to the large settlement blocs. But he intends to avoid negotiations with the Palestinian leadership. He knows that in such a dialogue he will be compelled to give up most or all of the settlement blocs. That's why he insists on "unilateral" steps.

This is a very dangerous policy for Israel. The Palestinian outburst of joy that took place in Gaza after the withdrawal reflects the belief that this is a triumph of the Palestinian resistance. The Palestinians are convinced that Israel has fled in face of the Palestinian heroes who sacrificed their lives for their people, the suicide bombers and the fighters who shoot the mortar shells and the Qassams, much as they had fled five years ago in the face of the Shiite guerillas in the south of Lebanon. "Israel understands only the language of force".

Blanche Skelton was feeding her baby when she heard something besides the soothing sound of ocean waves coming from a toy attached to the crib.

It was saying, "I hate you."

Yes, sir. They are tall. They walk with a-you see, the Grey aliens walk with a jerking motion, sir, as if there is something wrong with their legs. But, the Chitauli walk very gracefully, like trees gently swaying in the wind. They are tall. They have large heads. Some of them have got horns all around their heads. Now, let me express amazement, there exists-that in one of the films that recently appeared in South Africa, a Star Wars film, the latest one, shows a character EXACTLY like a Chitauli, exactly! It’s got horns all around it’s head. These are the warrior Chitauli. The royal Chitauli have got no horns around their head, but have got a darker ridge reaching from above their forehead to their back. They are very graceful creatures, we are told, sir, but they have got-their little finger is a claw which is a very sharp, straight claw, which they use to punch into human noses, in order to drink human brains in one of their rituals."

Svali: "The Illuminati is a group that practices a form of faith known as "enlightenment". It is Luciferian, and they teach their followers that their roots go back to the ancient mystery religions of Babylon, Egypt, and Celtic druidism. They have taken what they consider the "best" of each, the foundational practices, and joined them together into a strongly occult discipline. Many groups at the local level worship ancient deities such as "El", "Baal", and "Ashtarte", as well as "Isis and Osiris" and "Set".... I do know that these people teach and practice evil."

Soldiers from one of Britain’s most illustrious regiments added a splash of colour to their uniforms by adopting Snake-eye goggles as they started war training yesterday.

Members of the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, including 19-year-old tank driver Carl Thomas, above, were allowed to wear their own hologram protective eyewear during exercises in Bergen-Hohne in Germany. The £40 reflective 3D goggles, which are designed for motorcyclists, have become a fashionable accessory, but they will not be seen on the battlefield.

The project determined the existence of two extensive tunnel complexes beneath the concrete floor of the McMartin Preschool building. One, toward the south, was consistent with the location and function described by children; it appeared to connect the interior of the preschool with the adjoining triplex structure and it had a distinct signature where it exited under the foundation of the east wall. Since it lacked dateable artifacts and a consistent demarcation of floor profile, it was classified conservatively as a "possible" tunnel.

Credo Mutwa:  I think so, yes, sir.  He is the chief of the Chitauli.  And, like Satan, he lives in a house underground where great fires are always lighted, to keep him warm.  Because, we are told, that after the great war they fought with God, they became cold in their blood and they cannot stand freezing weather, which is why they require human blood, and also they require fire always to be kept working where they are.
